Assistant to the Dean
The assistant to the dean is responsible for a broad range of activities including oversight of the staff and activities within the office and ensuring implementation of the Dean’s various initiatives. He/she serves as the Dean’s liaison with other units throughout the University, within the college, and other internal and external constituents.
Amy Bibbey joined the Dean’s Office after 16 years of experience in the financial services industry and nine years of experience in education. Combining this background with her life on the family farm outside of Wellington, Amy is passionate about supporting the staff, faculty and students at the College of Agricultural Sciences. Amy is a graduate of the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce – Leadership Fort Collins program. She is also active in a variety of organizations, including numerous Poudre School District committees, the Canyon Concert Ballet Foundation, and formerly as a Girl Scout leader for six years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Colorado State University. Amy has been married for over 25 years and has three children in addition to all of the pets and creatures on the farm.

Beka joined Colorado State University’s College of Agricultural Sciences in 2009 after a career in public education and community mental health and career counseling. Beka assists students in making the connection between their major to their career, navigating change, enhancing their marketability and assisting in mapping their nonacademic experiences. She also assists employers in engaging with and hiring students at Colorado State University. Beka is passionate about the connection, progress and network that students experience in their higher educational journey and enjoys meeting students individually, in groups and through classroom instruction.
Director of Recruiting
Ruben recruits undergraduate students (incoming freshmen and transfer students) to the CSU College of Agricultural Sciences with visits to high schools, community/junior colleges and state/national conventions such as the Colorado FFA Convention and the National FFA Convention. Ruben schedules meetings with academic advisors and tours of the College’s facilities for prospective/admitted students and their parent(s). A first-generation college graduate, Ruben helps students navigate the college application process. Ruben has many years of recruiting experience in both the public and private sectors. Ruben co-advises the CSU Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources & Related Sciences (MANRRS) Chapter.
