Chris Gaddis is Director of Global Food Innovation at JBS, the world’s largest food company. During his nearly 20-year career with JBS, Chris has served in various leadership roles including General Counsel, where he oversaw the acquisitions of Smithfield Beef Group, Five Rivers Cattle Company, and Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation, and Head of Human Resources, a role he held until 2022. In his new role, Chris coordinates JBS’ Global Innovation Team, an international, multi-disciplinary team of JBS team members dedicated to leveraging JBS’ global scale to drive advancements in the areas of upcycling, health, and alternative proteins.

Chris has been a longtime member of various local boards including the Greeley Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of Weld County, Boulder County Partners, and the YMCA, and has served on the Colorado State University Agriculture Sciences Dean’s Advisory Council since 2018.

Chris and his wife Katie are proud parents of four boys—Aiden, Cole, Ty, and Griff—and most days can be found on bleachers somewhere in the northern athletic conference cheering their kids on.
