The communications team supports your communication needs with service in mind. We will provide timely and continuous communication and consistent, quality work via clear and timely communications and welcoming conversations. We will support you in your communication efforts by being a liaison between University Communications (formerly Division of External Relations) and directly providing the following services:

WEBSITE
Our website is a portal for our constituents to be part of our story. We want to provide our audiences with the best possible user experience. With exceptional customer service in mind, we are embarking on a redesign of the site. As we undergo this journey, we ask for your support and patience. We are available to assist with promotion of upcoming events on our event calendar and with general website maintenance and updates. Any redesign efforts will be evaluated by our team and may be postponed through the redesign process.

VENDOR RELATIONS
If you have a need for promotional items and/or print materials, we will connect you with a service provider to meet your needs.

EDITORIAL
Our team of talented writers is available to help spread the message about your work as it relates to advancing the mission of the college. Our team curates stories for SOURCE, the University's main news channel which serves an initial connection point between the media and special interest stories. We are also available for copy editing and content curation for other platforms.

INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS
We want to help keep staff, faculty and students informed. Feel free to reach out to us to help with talking points, special announcements and giving presentations about communication to your teams. We also meet with department communicators from each department twice per year. We look forward to connecting with you to learn more about your exciting news and how we can support you in promotion.

MEDIA
Interacting with media can offer the college valuable exposure to the public when approached in a strategic way. Our team is available to manage relations between the media and the College of Agricultural Sciences, as well as serve as a liaison between the college and University Communications. If you are contacted by the media, please feel free to reach out to us as a resource and we can support you in the interaction, as well as the promotion of the future feature.

STRATEGY
As part of our service commitment to you, we will think holistically about each of your communication needs and provide you will a plan of action for your requests. We are also available to assist with campaign development to help promote your larger initiatives.

SOCIAL MEDIA
We want to hear from you! Social media is a popular method for us to communicate with our audiences, and to do so we need your help! Please send us your social media news so that we may share your accolades. We provide promotional support of events and news via the college's parent Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts.

CRISIS COMMUNICATIONS
In times of crisis, we're available to support you in constructing and relaying your message via the appropriate channels of communication. If you are approached by a sensitive situation, please reach out to us and we will help you navigate communicating the information.

DESIGN
We are fortunate to have a part-time designer with our team to help with basic design needs that comply with University brand standards. Examples include digital display ads and internal facing materials. For higher level campaigns, we will guide the process while working with University Communications' Creative Services.

Photo and video services are available to meet the promotional needs of the college. Services are granted upon request and the discretion of the communications team.
