Graduate Student and Post-Doc Research Showcase
Join Us for the 2nd Annual CAS Research Showcase
We are proud to announce the second annual CAS Graduate Student and Post-doc Research Showcase, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 3 at 4 p.m. The Showcase, hosted by the College of Agricultural Sciences, aims to highlight the exceptional work of our graduate students and post-doctoral scientists, who are the driving force behind CAS research.
The Showcase will be held in the Animal Sciences 161 classroom, alongside two low-sensory spaces (Birko Conference Room 130 and Frasier Conference Room 134), providing ample opportunities for networking and engaging discussions. Appetizers and beverages will be served in the atrium, creating a vibrant atmosphere for collaboration.
Poster Session and Presentations
We invite all graduate students and post-doctoral scientists to attend this event. Whether you’re presenting a poster or simply joining us to celebrate the accomplishments of your peers, your presence is valued. Faculty and staff judges will evaluate posters, and prizes will be awarded for winners in departmental and college categories.
For those interested in presenting a poster, please register to reserve your spot. If you have previously presented posters, they are more than welcome. You can print your poster using the plotter printer in the Innovation Gym (Nutrien 167 computer lab) for a nominal fee of $4. Remember to plan printing time into your preparations, as the plotter might experience high demand leading up to the event.
The deadline to sign up is Sunday, March 24. Registered participants can expect to receive additional information during the week of March 25.
Faculty and Staff Engagement
Additionally, we encourage faculty members to promote participation among their lab members and consider serving as poster judges. Your support is invaluable in making this event a success.
To assist us in estimating attendance and organizing poster judges, please complete the registration form.
We hope you will join us in celebrating the achievements of our graduate students and post-doctoral scientists. For any inquiries or further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact Jessica Prenni.
