The assistant to the dean is responsible for a broad range of activities including oversight of the staff and activities within the office and ensuring implementation of the Dean’s various initiatives. Kirsten serves as the Dean’s liaison with other units throughout the University, within the college, and other internal and external constituents.
Amy Bibbey joined the Dean’s Office after 16 years of experience in the financial services industry and nine years of experience in education. Combining this background with her life on the family farm outside of Wellington, Amy is passionate about supporting the staff, faculty and students at the College of Agricultural Sciences and Research Centers around the state. Amy is a graduate of the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce – Leadership Fort Collins program and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Colorado State University.
Adelle Thompson joined the Dean’s Office in December, 2018; bringing along with her over 12 years of experience and passion for higher education. Prior to joining our Ag Family, Thompson was the Communications and Event Coordinator with the Department of Chemistry at CSU, and was the Faculty Affairs and Staffing Coordinator for the Carson College of Business at Washington State University in Pullman, WA.
As the Dean’s Office Assistant, she is responsible for coordinating events for the college that include Commencement, CAS Awards, and Ag Day. She serves as administrative support for the Student Success Team and the Dean’s Office. Thompson earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Montana, Missoula, in communication and graduated with honors. While obtaining her degree, she managed the office for the Department of Sociology at the U of M.
