Providing accurate, up-to-date information on pesticide laws and regulations, environmental protection, and pesticide safety for workers and the general public. Coordinate and implement the CSU Pesticide Safety Education Program and is involved in creating a school Integrated Pest Management program in area schools. Train private and commercial pesticide applicators and employers throughout Colorado. Train workers/handlers and agricultural employers on EPA’s Worker Protection Standard. Provide an up-to-date index of upcoming continuing education credits for pesticide applicator recertification. CEPEP is part of the Department of Agricultural Biology in the College of Agricultural Sciences at Colorado State University (CSU).
