The Agronomy Club would not be able to operate smoothly without the continued support of our faculty advisors. For the 2018-2019 school year, our faculty advisor is Dr. Scott Haley:

Scott Haley, Professor of Soil and Crop Sciences, College of Agricultural Sciences, November 15, 2018

Dr. Scott Haley leads the CSU Wheat Breeding and Genetics Program. Scott completed his BS degree in Botany at Washington State University in 1983 and then served for 2 ½ years in the Peace Corps in West Africa. Scott joined the CSU Wheat Breeding Program in 1986 as a graduate student and completed his Ph.D. in 1992 working on drought stress tolerance. Since 1999, Scott has led a very dedicated and capable team of researchers focused on the development of winter wheat varieties adapted for Colorado and surrounding states. Scott also teaches two graduate level plant breeding courses at CSU and serves as faculty adviser for the CSU Agronomy Club.
