We are at a pivotal moment in agriculture and animal sciences. With the pressures of climate change, population growth, and rising demands for food, innovation and leadership are more crucial than ever. In honor of Dr. John K. Matsushima\u2019s extraordinary contributions, we aim to name the department after him while raising support to address today\u2019s most urgent challenges.<\/p>\n

Dr. Matsushima is internationally celebrated for his groundbreaking work in cattle nutrition, particularly for his development of feedlot cattle diets that have transformed beef production globally.
