Borch group collaborates to help provide a roadmap for the DOE regarding the beneficial reuse of wastewater for agriculture
Dr. Borch and his group members Dr. Robert Young and PhD student Sean Stokes collaborated with CSU’s engineering department and the University of Cincinnati to write a technology roadmap to promote research focusing on the use of non-traditional water sources for agricultural irrigation through the Department of Energy’s National Alliance for Water Innovation (NAWI). The NAWI project is a large collaboration of national labs, universities, and industry partners from around the country working together to highlight a path forward to reuse wastewater for beneficial uses among various sectors. The Borch group focused on the agricultural sector as both an end-user and as a source of wastewater.
