Bianca Hodge-Pardo
Biography
I am an international student from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I came to the United States about 4 years ago to start my studies, and I graduated from a high school in Miami. Some things I love to do in my free time are to go hiking, to do activities outdoors, to read, and to travel. I love to discover new places around the world and do new activities that I haven’t tried before.
I got the opportunity to come to Colorado State University in 2018, but I wasn’t sure what I would like to study just yet. In my second semester of my freshman year I made the decision to study chemistry. That was because since I was introduced to chemistry in my home country, I have loved it, and when I was choosing what major I was going to pursue, I couldn’t find a better fit than chemistry.
I also decided to join Dr. Borch’s research to be able to experience more what actual research is about, and to be able to be more involved in my field and get some experience for when I graduate. I am very happy to be part of this research as I think it is a great way to explore environmental issues using chemistry.
