Biography
I grow up in Daqing, Heilongjiang Provience, China. Daqing is famous of its oil and the other name for the city is Oil City. I love the blue sky there. When I was in high school, I saw the sand storm for the first time and I knew the words “Environmental Pollution” from the local newspaper although I did not know the indeed meaning of the words. However, I got the answer four years later when I graduated from Northeast Normal University. I got my bachelor’s degree at Northeast Normal University in 2005 and my major is Environmental Science. The four-year study at university let me know what the environmental pollution was and I decided to keep going. Five years later (in 2010), I received my Doctor’s degree at the same university. In the same year, I began to work in Jilin Agriculture University.
Project Summary
I attended many projects about the pesticides in the environment. We mainly did some research on examining the residue amounts of pesticides in different parts of crops (such as corn, soybean, vegetables, and so on) and in the environment (including water and soil). We also monitored the degradation dynamics of pesticides. From last year, we started to do some research on the soil microbiology. We want to know the variation of the soil microbiology after pesticides application and try to analyze the reasons.
