Horticulture and Landscape Architecture<\/h1>\n

As Colorado navigates one of the driest, warmest years on record, residents have concerns about drought and its effect on their daily lives. And for many Coloradans, the BIG question is already being asked: What will this weird weather do to the annual crop of Palisade peaches?<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s going to be a very early season \u2013 even earlier than last year,\u201d said Ioannis Minas, associate professor of pomology (the science and art of fruit-growing) at Colorado State University\u2019s College of Agricultural Sciences. \u201cWe still have a long way to go, but everything right now is pointing toward an early harvest.\u201d<\/p>\n
