BIOGRAPHY
Joe McGrane has over thirty years of experience in the disciplines of landscape planning, design and construction. His built work includes public parks and gardens, schools, institutional landscapes, and finely crafted public artworks. His ability to quickly ideate and illustrate design concepts is valued by planners, clients, and other design consultants in facilitating public process and informing design dialog. Joe teaches what he practices. Notable recent activities include illustrating the Comprehensive Plan for Golden Gate National Recreation Area, concept design of the Outdoor Experience at the Denver Children’s Museum with Mundus Bishop Design, design charrettes and public outreach for the Jackson Hole/Teton County Comprehensive Land Use Plan with Logan Simpson Design and a permanent public art installation along the Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Corridor in Ft. Collins.
