Recreation in the Region

CSU ranks 2nd in the list of “The 35 Best Outdoor Schools in America” by Best College Reviews (2014). There are exceptional recreational opportunities within reach of the campus. In addition to the following highlights, there are literally dozens of world-class places for recreation and relaxation. For instance, Rocky Mountain National Park is less than an hour’s drive from Fort Collins and campus views of its mountain peaks serve as constant reminders of our adventures and studies there.
