DARE Assistant Professor and Graduate Student Present Research in Arlington

Becca Jablonski, CSU Assistant Professor and Food Systems Extension Economist and M.S. graduate student, Nicole Didero, attended the 2018 Direct Agricultural Marketing Summit in Arlington, Virginia. This was the inaugural conference of the Direct Ag Marketing Summit, as a collaboration between the USDA, Food Distribution Research Society (FDRS), Farmers Market Coalition (FMC), Farm Credit and National Value-Added Conference. The goal of the conference was to improve understanding, capacity and performance of businesses and agricultural producers that are involved in direct to consumer markets. Nicole was selected to present part of her thesis, a case study in Northern Colorado on consumer barriers to attendance at farmers markets.
