Salinity and Sodicity Tolerance in Pulse Crops
Project Collaborators
This project evaluates how germination and growth of pulse crops is influenced by salinity and sodicity. We will use different salts like NaCl and magnesium sulfate to create saline and sodic solutions and measure their impact on a variety of pulse crops:
- dry beans
- peas
- chickpeas
- cowpeas
- tepary beans
- mung beans
- runner beans
