Brad is a Ph.D. student at Colorado State University. He received his first Bachleror’s, B.A. in Molecular Biology, from Concordia University-Portland, OR. Then received a B.Sc. in Forest Biology from Colorado State University, while working for the Colorado State Forest Service. His current studies are focused on forest soil microbial communities and the relationships between Armillaria root disease, forest habitat types, and regeneration. He is passionate about forest pathology, specifically integrated forest disease management, to find ways to mitigate hazard trees in a wildland and urban setting.
