Sean is a M.S. student at Colorado State University. He received his B.Sc. in Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology from Colorado State University. He is currently studying the epidemiology of Cytospora Canker in Western Colorado peach orchards. Sean’s projects include assessing the effects of irrigation on dispersal of Cytospora, investigating the efficacy of chemical sprays as a prophylactic against infection, and identifying possible sources of inoculum in orchard settings. The applied approach of his research aims to influence current management practices to reduce the damage and incidence of Cytospora in Western Colorado peach orchards.
