Student opportunities in the College of Ag to engage in diversity, equity and inclusion work:

  • Consider applying to be an Ag Peer Mentor - Selected applicants will spend a semester in training to develop cultural competencies, mentoring and leadership skills. In the second semester, Ag Mentors will engage with up to four Peer Mentees.  Building community and learning from one another inspires growth and camaraderie.
  • Participate in United in STEMM programs and events. The overarching goal of the program is to connect students of color in STEMM disciplines more intentionally with their colleges, industry partners, and with alumni and professionals of color, as well as eliminate graduation and persistence gaps for students of color.  To learn more and get involved, contact Elias Quinonez, CAS Manager of Student Life and Diversity.
