This year’s Trees in the West event will bring together residents, scientists, policymakers and forestry professionals to explore how trees can help communities adapt to a warming climate. The event will take place on Tuesday, May 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at CSU Spur, and is hosted by Colorado State University’s Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture.

Upskilling program receives new funding to continue work in 2025, beyond

Colorado State University’s College of Agricultural Sciences’ Upskilling program recently received a $750,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to train workers in agricultural fields, particularly younger employees, on the latest technology related to irrigation, soil health, seed conditioning and food safety.

2024 CSU Ag Day: A celebration of Northern Colorado Agriculture

Colorado State University’s 2024 Nutrien Ag Day BBQ is set for Saturday, Sept. 7, prior to the Rams football game against the University of Northern Colorado Bears at Canvas Stadium. CSU’s 43rd Ag Day will be a celebration of the deeply rooted agricultural tradition of both universities’ northern Colorado communities and colleges. CSU fans will don their Aggie Orange attire for the occasion as a nod to Colorado A&M’s original colors, pumpkin orange and alfalfa green.
