Fondest Memory of being in FFA or a connection that you have to FFA if you were not a member: "I considered myself a member as I was chosen as FFA Sweetheart for the Julesburg, CO Chapter in 1951. Currently, I have great memories of my time serving on the Colorado FFA Foundation Board. Fondest memory is participating in building the CoBank Center for Agricultural Education on CSU's ARDEC campus." If your ag teacher were with you today, what would you want to tell them regarding the impact that FFA and your instructor had on your life? "I would say thank you! My husband, Glen Sowder, was a very dedicated agriculture teacher and he included me in all aspects of his teaching career. Thus, along with growing up on a wheat and cattle enterprise in Nebraska, I have always been involved and interested in agriculture education." What advice would you give FFA members today? Become involved. It will guide you on a career path and assist you in gaining leadership qualities.
