- Plant winter wheat in Fall.
Year 2:
- Harvest winter wheat.
- Fall/winter fallow.

- Plant safflower in Spring.
- Harvest safflower in Fall.
About
Waschke Farm is a 600-acre dryland, certified organic operation owned by Bill and Rhonda Waschke. Raising winter wheat and dry beans, the farm is incorporating cover crop mixes into their crop rotations. They have been organic since 1990 and farming since 1984.
Project Role
Bill and Rhonda assist with project planning and maintain a field site on their farm in collaboration with the NRCS Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).
