Our Lab focuses on improving the health and well-being of dairy cattle.

We are interested in analyzing the interrelationship among cattle health, reproduction, and performance, both from the individual and the population perspective, considering the effect of multiple management systems.

We utilize a number of innovative technologies to help improve fertility, monitor animal health, and help catch disease early which can help prevent or reduce losses related to illness.

Among the tools used in our researches are: epidemiological analysis of dairy diseases, genomic selection which can be used to improve fertility, and precision dairy technologies which can help to improve dairy management.
