Biography
Dr. Tamla Blunt, a retired Faculty Instructor/Plant Pathologist at Colorado State University in the Agricultural Biology Department (formerly Bioagricultural Sciences and Pest Management - BSPM). I am a Plant Pathologist by training. After I retired, I returned to work at CSU part-time to facilitate the online Horticulture Pathology series of classes and work remotely doing Instructional Design for the UpSkill program. I am familiar with a variety of plants that include greenhouse, forest, landscape, turf, vegetables, and cropping situations and the associated pathogens/toxins that accompany many of these plants. At Colorado State University, I taught LIFE102 (First-Year Biology), Online Horticulture Pathology classes (BSPM355A, B, C) and assist with Elements of Plant Pathology (BSPM361), a resident instruction class. I was a part-time Instructor for FRCC for 23 years and taught Landscape Plant Health Care, Plant Propagation, and Pesticide Safety and Use at Front Range Community College campuses in Westminster and Fort Collins, CO.
