Gabe joined the MARC team as a research associate in January of 2024. He has 5 years of experience working in horticultural research and currently manages the data collection and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program for MARC. As part of a larger IPM program, he rears beneficial insects as an augmentative biological control strategy in the Terra greenhouse and growth chambers. A future project Gabe is excited about is the utilization of agricultural by-products as substrate for gourmet mushroom production.
