I was raised in Nucla, CO and own and operate a small vegetable farm in Fruita, CO with my wife and three children. Currently, I work for Dr. Perry Cabot at the Grand Valley Research Center in Fruita, CO where I am also conducting an ongoing Novel Biochar Injection Field Trial, studying the effects of biochar’s matric water potential in soil. I am currently President of Mesa Conservation District and have seats on various other volunteer agriculture boards and panels.
