Natalie Loomer is from Wisconsin and holds a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture, with a concentration of Horticultural Business Management from Colorado State University. She started as an intern with MARC in 2023 and became a research associate in 2024. She is passionate about innovative practices for growing organic, fresh food locally. Most of her hands on experience involves cultivating leafy greens and greenhouse vegetables using hydroponics systems. She values CSU Spur and the opportunities it gives to work in a dynamic environment, engaging in hydroponics, aquaponics, conducting ongoing research, and collaborating amongst the different departments and programs.
