Biography
Hi everyone! I grew up in beautiful Jackson Hole, Wyoming, before moving to Fort Collins for my undergraduate and now graduate studies. I was raised a true Wyoming girl—showing livestock, working on the ranch, snowmobiling, and competing in rodeo. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunities I had growing up, as they have fueled the passions I pursue today.
In addition to being a graduate student, I’m a member of the CSU rodeo team and compete professionally in the Women's Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) as well. My deep love for horses has shaped my education over the years, and my thesis research will focus on horses suffering from chronic pain, aiming to advance my understanding of pain recognition in horses and develop strategies to address it. My ultimate goal is to own an Equine Rehabilitation Center specializing in helping performance horses recover from injuries and illness.
I’m so thankful for the education and experiences I’ve gained at CSU and look forward to continuing my journey as I pursue my master’s degree.
