Biography
Natasha is a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Colorado State University (CSU), where she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Animal Science. She holds a bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT) and a master's degree in Animal Nutrition and Production from the University of São Paulo (USP), where she focused on research related to the nutrition of beef cattle, specifically the use of feed additives in feedlot systems.
Currently, Natasha's PhD project, under the supervision of Dr. Terry Engle, aims to explore the use of feed additives to reduce methane emissions and improve the efficiency of animals raised for beef and milk production.
Looking ahead, Natasha aims to apply her knowledge in the professional world by developing and implementing new technologies to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of the agricultural sector. She plans to continue her research career, exploring innovative solutions that can contribute to both environmental sustainability and improved production practices in animal agriculture. Natasha is also deeply committed to educating future generations about the importance of these advancements, inspiring them to pursue meaningful change in the industry, and has a strong passion for the educational process.
