Mj is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Nachappa Lab at Colorado State University. During her graduate studies, she focused on plant-atmosphere interactions, studying how abiotic stress changes the emission of volatile organic compounds from plants, and the subsequent atmospheric consequences of those emissions. In the Department of Agricultural Biology, she has shifted to a biotic perspective on plant emissions, identifying the role that volatile organic compounds play on insect attraction. Outside of research, Mj is dedicated to science communication, accessibility, art, and outreach.
