Caroline Conley Norris is a PhD student in DARE. Her interests lie at the intersection of regional and environmental economics. Her academic and applied research focus is on the economic impacts of climate change and sustainability policies, particularly as they relate to the financial system, household financial wellbeing, regional economies, and historically under-resourced communities. She is motivated to identify the mechanisms that foster resilience and the policies that can equitably distribute the costs of climate change.
Caroline has a MS degree from DARE and has been an employee of the Federal Reserve System since 2020. In her current and prior roles, she has worked to analyze and address complex economic challenges related to banking sector safety and soundness, climate risk, insurance availability, and community resilience.
