Dixie Posey is pursuing her MS in Animal Science with a concentration in Livestock Nutrition with Dr. Terry Engle as her advisor. Although she has interest in all sectors of animal agriculture, beef cattle nutrition is her passion. Dixie's background includes growing up in an agronomy-centered community in rural North Dakota, working on her grandfather's cow-calf operation in New Mexico, and obtaining a BS in Animal Science from Colorado State University. While in pursuit of her MS, she also works full-time as a 911 dispatcher for the CSU Police Department.
