Maya is a masters student working under the guidance of Dr. Caitlin Cadaret. Though she's lived all over North America, Maya considers California home. Her current research focuses on the effects of nutrient restriction on puberty in sheep and understanding the relationship between student involvement and retention. In her free time, you'll find her hiking with her dog Marshmallow, rock climbing, or playing viola.
