Assistant Dean for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity in Agriculture
Colorado State University invites applications and encourages nominations for the Assistant Dean for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity in Agriculture in the College of Agricultural Sciences. The Assistant Dean will champion the College’s “Come to the Table” initiatives and pursue excellence for cultivating a diverse community that co-creates knowledge to address key agricultural challenges in a college of 136 faculty, 339 staff, and over 1,950 undergraduate and graduate students.
About this Appointment
This 12-month appointment will involve decision-making regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies, programming, and events for CAS, as well as overseeing and directing the College’s DEI budget. The successful candidate is expected to synergize with the CAS leadership to enhance, develop, coordinate, and integrate the college’s DEI initiatives and program.

About the College of Agricultural Sciences
The College of Agricultural Sciences is home to five academic departments and the Colorado Agricultural Experiment Station. We investigate potential improvements to food production and agribusiness at 10 Research Centers throughout Colorado.
We are meeting global challenges in food safety, food security, wellness and economic prosperity through the sustainable use of natural resources. We support the University’s foundational land-grant mission by integrating intentional discovery, inclusive learning and collaborative engagement.
