AG FEST

Sutherland Garden | 10 a.m.-2 p.m. | Open to All

Kick off Ag Week 2024 and witness the impressive scope of emerging innovations in agriculture featuring free food sampling, lambs, farming robots, high-tech tractors, and more! This event showcases several CSU student- and Alumni-owned agricultural businesses as well as all five College of Agricultural Sciences Departments. 

FACULTY AND STAFF ALL-COLLEGE MEETING

LSC Theatre | 2-4 p.m.

Faculty and staff, join us for updates from university, college and department leadership. We encourage in-person attendance by those on campus. Our colleagues across the state can join us virtually on Microsoft Teams.

FARMER’S MARKET

Admin Building Southern Walkway | 10 a.m.-1 p.m. | Open to All

Support local farmers and food artisans by purchasing fresh produce and goods. Whether you’re looking for veggies, pies, flowers, or mocktails, our vendors are excited to meet you! CAS STUDENT INVOLVEMENT FAIR

Nutrien Building | 3-6 p.m.

Join the College of Agricultural Sciences and your department to meet your faculty, staff, student clubs, and campus resources and learn multiple ways to get involved and enrich your experience in the college. Each student will receive a free meal ticket to use at one of three food trucks. 

C.P. Gillette Museum of Arthropod Diversity Open House

Get ready for a day of discovery at one of the West’s largest and most fascinating insect collections! Join us at the Gillette Museum for an exclusive open house where you’ll dive into the intriguing world of bugs and explore research happening at CSU. Don’t miss out on guided group tours and uncover the secrets of our incredible insect exhibits with expert guides. Enjoy tasty treats as you mingle with fellow bug enthusiasts. 

MIRASOL Screening

LSC Theatre | 5:30-8 p.m. | Open to All

The College of Agricultural Sciences is honored to host a special screening and panel discussion of the new documentary film MIRASOL: Looking at the Sun, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ben Knight and presented and produced by Palmer Land Conservancy. This poignant new film provides an intimate portrait of a rural farming community in Pueblo, Colorado, as they fight to protect their water and land, and in turn, their culture and livelihood. Enjoy complimentary movie snacks and a post-screening catered reception featuring hors d’oeuvres inspired by the film.

Ag Olympics

Rec Center East Lawn (Corner of Plum and Meridian) | 5-7 p.m.

Test your Aggie tenacity as you compete against fellow students in a series of agricultural challenges! Prizes will be awarded for top overall team and best team costume. Make new friends and enjoy an evening of fun, connecting with agricultural employers, and visiting our local snow cone truck. Sign up here.

The Colorado FFA Foundation and CSU Agricultural Education Program will host a reception for all Blue Jacket Society Members and legendary teacher “owl” nominees at the CoBank Center for Agricultural Education to celebrate Ag Day. Invitation only.

CSU AG DAY AND THE NUTRIEN AG DAY BBQ

Intramural Fields | Time: 1-4:00 p.m. | Open to All

Come to the table for a delicious meal to honor CSU’s roots, elevate scholarship and celebrate our community’s agricultural producers at Colorado’s premier outdoor BBQ before the Rams take on the UNC Bears at Canvas Stadium.
