Highest FFA Degree Obtained:
State FFA Degree
Your Ag Instructor(s) name(s) (Mr./Mrs. First and Last):
Dean Soderquist
Ten to fifteen different words that describe your ag teacher:
"Dedicated, Ag Related, Community Oriented, Quick Witted, Insightful"

Montrose
List three to five awards or accomplishments you achieved as an FFA member that you are most proud of:
"Chapter President, State Degree, WLC Scholarship recipient,"
Fondest Memory of being in FFA or a connection that you have to FFA if you were not a member:
My favorite times were on our Chapter Pack Trip. 15 kids and a few sponsors would pack a string of horse and mules back into the back country somewhere near Montrose for a week during the summer. More memories were made on those trips than could be listed in several books!
If your ag teacher were with you today, what would you want to tell them regarding the impact that FFA and your instructor had on your life?
Dean and several advisory committee members mentioned that they thought I might do well as an ag teacher and started me down that path. 19 years later I am still in this position because of the insight they had to suggest this career field to me. I would like to thank them for getting me started.
What advice would you give FFA members today?
"Take advantage of the opportunities set before you. Some will be awesome experiences, some will not but you won't know what might spark a new passion you didn't know you have."
