Rachel hails from the great state of Iowa but is now a seasoned Coloradan having moved to Denver back in 2011. After earning a Communication Studies degree from the University of Iowa while working as a teaching assistant, Rachel obtained a background in project management through years of restaurant management in the hospitality & brewing industries. After a food allergy sparked an interest in holistic nutrition, Rachel set her sights on the natural products industry and gained further experience within the pet industry in areas of regulation, packaging, sustainability and product development. Her combined experience led her to CSU Spur! Personal passions include hiking, rock climbing, traveling and finding unique and fun restaurants wherever she goes!
