Environmental and Agricultural Chemistry
Our research is focused on topics such as water treatment and reuse for agricultural irrigation, wastewater management for meat processing, forest fire impacts on surface water quality, permafrost thawing effects on carbon and nutrient cycling, and soil/water quality impacts on crop health.

About Dr. Borch
Dr. Borch is a Professor in the Department of Soil and Crop Sciences, with joint appointments in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Department of Chemistry.
Because we have such an interdisciplinary approach to our work, we are able to pursue complex agricultural, environmental, and industrial projects.
