Biography
I was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. I spent about six years in Germany when I was very young. There, I played on the local soccer team and had some of the best food I have eaten! I went to the historic Little Rock Central High School and ventured to Louisiana State University for my undergraduate studies. During my undergraduate experience, I participated in the school’s improv troupe, and I was in the horticulture club of LSU. I worked with deep eutectic solvents in my undergraduate research. After graduating from LSU, I wanted a change of scenery and to focus on studying environmental chemistry, which led me to Colorado State University. I plan on studying the organic matter in soil that results from micro-predatory interactions. In my free time, I like to crochet , accumulate house plants, and spend time outdoors. I love to propagate “mother” plants and have a mini ecosystem in my apartment.
