Michael is a multifaceted professional whose journey spans the Midwest and beyond. Born in Michigan, raised in Illinois, and shaped by Iowa, he earned a B.S. in Industrial Education and Technology from Iowa State University, followed by an M.S. in Environmental Management from the University of Houston. His early career in Environmental, Health, and Safety laid the groundwork for two decades as a dedicated Stay-at-Home Dad in Colorado. Michael serves as an Operations Specialist at the Food Innovation Center at CSU Spur, where he supports innovation in food systems.
