Pandemic Enforcement Issues

Audience

New and experienced state, territory, or tribal pesticide compliance and enforcement program managers and inspector supervisors that work under a FIFRA Cooperative Agreement.

Tribes that do not have a FIFRA Cooperative Agreement but have an approved General Assistance Program Agreement work plan focused on implementing or developing pesticide program documents or executing pesticide specific activities will be considered for this course.

 

Course Goals

Increase knowledge of current and emerging pesticide compliance and enforcement issues, especially as a result of the current pandemic, and provide key information to maintain strong state, tribal, and territory pesticide enforcement programs. In addition, increase effective coordination and communication among agencies.

 

Course Information Topics 

  • Compliance monitoring methods related to COVID
  • Enforceability of label claims, special registrations, and devices
  • Enforcement of unregistered and e-commerce products
  • Disinfectant use in schools and public places
