About the Horticulture Center

The CSU Horticulture Center serves as a state-of-the-art facility for horticulture education and research. Located adjacent to a community garden and federal research center, the center expands opportunities for joint research and programming while enhancing the learning environment for CSU students.

The facility features advanced LED lighting designed to optimize plant characteristics such as nutritional value, irrigation strategies, climate impact, and year-round production. These modern controlled-environment agricultural facilities improve energy efficiency while supporting a wide range of horticultural studies, including greenhouse food production, hops, floriculture, and turf research.
