To support and promote research, teaching and outreach in plant sciences across CSU, by providing state-of-the-art facilities and services to meet tomorrow’s grand challenges quickly and collaboratively.

Space
Using Space at PGF
Greenhouse, growth chamber, biocontaiment greenhouses, cold rooms and soil/plant grinding rooms are available for a monthly fee to Faculty, Research Associates, Graduate Students and on a limited basis, non-affiliated users.
Reservations are required for all space requests through Redbud, an online reservation management tool.
All reservations must be made in advance to assure availability; minimum of one week prior to start date and for greenhouse space and one month in advance for growth chambers.
Please note: Growth Chambers availability is limited. If you’re interested in being placed on waiting list-please contact PGF.
Tour Information
COVID- 19 Update: All tours will be suspended until further notice.
Tours of the Plant Growth Facilities are available when time permits. Please request a tour at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure we are available. As always, the Conservatory is open to the public for self-guided tours Monday- Friday from 8:30a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Please be advised, PGF is primarily focused on agricultural crops (wheat, rice, corn, etc.), not ornamental crops or specialty vegetables. If you’re looking for these crops, please contact the Horticulture Center in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture.
PGF greenhouse tours are free and take approximately 1 hour to tour. Metered parking is available to the west of the facility or in the South College Avenue parking garage. To schedule a facility tour please email Plant Growth Facility for more information.
